Three arrested, two on drug charges, by Chitimacha police

Three persons were arrested by Chitimacha Tribal Police Tuesday, two on drug charges.
Chief Hal Hutchinson reported that tribal police responded to complaint at Cypress Bayou Casino regarding three suspects who attempted to enter the facility without proper identification.
All three were placed under arrest for illegal use of a state identification card to gain entry into a gaming establishment. During the arrest police located marijuana, synthetic marijuana, methamphetamine, Xanax and Schedule 5 narcotics and illegally gained currency.
Arrested were:
Michael Trosclair, 39, of Lafayette, was charged with unlawful use of a state identification to enter a gaming facility. He was released on a summons.
Joshua Hebert, 39, of Broussard, was charged with possession with intent to distribute meth, marijuana and Xanax; proceeds involving drug transactions; possession of paraphernalia and unlawful use of a state identification to gain entry into a gaming facility. No bone was set.
Lance Bagwell, 31, of Lafayette, was charged with possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana and unlawful use of a state identification to gain entry into a gaming facility. No bond was set.
Hutchinson said the investigation will continue and additional arrests are possible.
