Tickets for dance, art show on sale

Tickets are available for the city’s dance recital and student art show from Broussard-Harris Recreation Center, The Lamp Lighter, Chic & Shabby Collections, Meyer’s Shoe Store, T-Shirts and Treasures and the water department of City Hall.
They are available until Thursday at 1 p.m. Tickets are $5 and cash or checks will be accepted. Checks should be made payable to the City of Franklin. Everyone who attends the dance recital and student art show must have a ticket.
Participants in the Stop the Violence! Rally Thursday at 6 p.m. will be able to buy tickets for the dance recital and student art show. After the rally ends, tickets must be purchased at the door the night of the program.
The Bayou Beaux Art and Dance Summer Arts Program dance recital and student art show will be July 23 at the Teche Theatre for the Performing Arts. The doors open at 5 p.m., and the dance recital begins at 6 p.m. LaDaisha Bowles-Webber is the dance instructor.
