Tri-City area Memorial Day closings

Monday will be a holiday for area municipal, parish and state offices as Memorial Day is celebrated.
The Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill in Berwick will close at noon on Memorial Day.
Pelican Waste and Debris, and Progressive Waster Solutions will run will collect its garbage routes, but some routes may be collected earlier than usual.
The offices at The Daily Review will close early on Friday and Monday to allow employees to observe Memorial Day festivities.
News and advertising deadlines will be earlier than usual to accommodate press runs both days.
