TRI-CITY TOP GRADUATES

Berwick High School is recognizing seven honor graduates who will lead the class of 2014.
Olivia Gilbert is the daughter of David and Anna Gilbert. Through high school, she was involved in cheerleading, softball, swimming, track and band. She also serves as a senior class president and is a member of many other service organizations. Gilbert will be attending Tulane University in the fall to double major in neuroscience and piano performance. She hopes one day to become a doctor.
Diana Grace Guarisco is the daughter of Lee and Claire Guarisco. She has been a cheerleader for four years. In addition, she has been on the volleyball team for four years, this year serving as co-captain, and chosen as a member of the Academic All-State Composite Team. She has been involved in many clubs including Beta Club, FBLA and Foreign Language Club. While on Student Council, she served as class secretary/treasurer the last two years. She was chosen to attend two leadership seminars, HOBY and LYS. She also was a Powercat and Wisecat all four years.
Guarisco will be attending Louisiana State University in the fall majoring in business. After, she plans to get an MBA or attend law school.
Randi Hoff is the daughter of Tim and Becky Hoff. During high school, she was involved in many organizations such as Beta Club, FBLA, and Key Club. She placed first in state FBLA her sophomore year and was the president of Anime Club her junior and senior years. Randi will be attending Louisiana Tech University this fall to study computer science.
Brooke Hotard is the daughter of James and Renee Hotard. Throughout high school, she has participated in softball, dance team, Student Council, Beta Club, Relay for Life and Foreign Language Club. She was also named to the Academic Composite Softball Team.
In the fall, Hotard plans to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is undecided on her major.
Emily Lipari is the daughter of Lynn Lipari and Julie Perry.
She was a member of the track team for two years, the Beta Club for three years and the Top Cats dance team for four years where she served as an officer for one year.
Lipari plans to go to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to major in biology and go on to medical school. She plans to become a dermatologist.
Signe Parsiola is the daughter of Charlie and Lisa Parsiola. At Berwick High School, she is involved in cheerleading where she serves as captain; Student Council, where she served as president; Beta Club; Foreign Language Club; and tennis. She is an eighth degree Powercat and Wisecat, and she attended LYS summer camp. Her future plans include majoring in business or mass communications at Louisiana State University.
Sarah Rentrop is the daughter of Dale Rentrop Jr. and Laura Rentrop. She was involved with Beta Club, Student Council, Insight, Key Club, Social Studies Club, track and field, and the ARK Movement throughout her four years. She also was a member of the Sound of Pride band and the Top Cats dance team for four years. Rentrop’s future plans are to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the fall and major in the liberal arts field.
Berwick High School’s graduation ceremony will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Paul Geisler Memorial Stadium.
