Turning on the lights

The honor of switching on the City of Franklin’s Christmas lights went to Murphy Armelin. After a postponement due to weather, Franklin officials and the public joined together at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse Square for the annual event. More photos in Wednesday’s edition of the Banner-Tribune.
