There will be a Celebration of Life service Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Cornerstone Ministries, 308 Everett Street, Morgan City, Louisiana. Doors open at 6 p.m. and service at 7 p.m.
Janet (Dragna) Howard, age 62, was born March 20, 1954, the daughter of the late Matile and Hazel Dragna of Morgan City. Janet grew up in Morgan City but was a resident of Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Janet was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1972. She attended Spencer Business College in Lafayette, Louisiana. After graduating, she worked at Morgan City Bank for many years then as a law assistant in her husband’s law firm.
Janet was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City. She loved working in her flower garden, reading books and she especially loved her dogs.
Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Dragna; father, Matile Dragna; brother, Andrea (Christine) Dragna; and her daughter, Jennifer Howard.
Her memory will always be cherished by her surviving family, husband, Pascal Howard of Wewoka, Oklahoma; son, Timothy Howard of Chicago; two sisters, Anita (Herb) Dragna Stanley of Morgan City and Celeste Dragna of Breaux Bridge; her sisters-in-law, Margret Ann Snyder (Dr. David D), Barbara Mowbray Griggs, and Joan (John) Imes of Oklahoma City; her brothers-in-law, Jamie (Tracy) Howard of Norman, Oklahoma, Philip (Jane) Howard of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Lee Pierce Howard of Oklahoma City, and Bobby Howard of Wewoka, Oklahoma; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private burial will be observed by the family.
