VFW post celebrates 50 years

Veterans of Foreign Wars State Chief of Staff Bobby Lavergne, right, presents VFW Post 4222 Commander Kenneth Lodrigue the association’s Golden Anniversary Award in recognition of the local post’s 50th anniversary during Friday’s celebration in Morgan City. At the conclusion of Friday’s ceremony, the local post cut a ceremonial ribbon signifying the start of its next 50 years.
