Victims of fire in need of assistance

A family is in need after a fire claimed their home and all its contents Monday.
The Clark family lost their home on Talbot Street. They were not insured and Franklin Fire Chief Chuck Bourgeois said the department is seeking assistance from the community to help them.
There are two adults and four children in need of clothing, furniture, bedding and household supplies.
The father wears size 38-40 pants and the mother size 2-3; an 8-year-old daughter wears girl’s size 8; a 7-year-old son needs boy’s size 8; the 4-year-old son needs boy’s size 5; and a 2-year-old son wears size boy’s 2-T.
Donated items can be dropped off at the central fire station at 512 First St. in Franklin. Monetary donations are also being accepted.
