Water valves to be tested

City workers will be testing water valves in various areas throughout the city on Wednesday, according to a city news release.
Testing will go from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday and then from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Some homes and businesses on Federal Avenue and Front Street may be affected by the testing, the release stated.
The Wyandotte and Auburn Subdivision areas may also notice some fluctuation in lines as well.
Residents may notice discolored water for a brief period of time in addition to loss of water pressure while water lines are being tested, the release stated.
Areas which contain schools will be tested on weekends in an effort not to disrupt school operations, the release said.
