West St. Mary names 3 top graduates

Tyler Bonin, Tori Folks and Caleb Loveless lead the West St. Mary High School Class of 2014 as top graduates.
The graduation ceremony was held Thursday in the school gymnasium.
Tyler Bonin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jude Bonin, maintained a 3.8806 cumulative grade point average throughout his high school career. In the fall of 2014, Tyler will attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to major in physics. He was awarded the UL Lafayette Centennial Scholarship.
Tyler was a member of the French Club, Literary Rally Team, Quiz Bowl Team, and FFA. He served as the 2013-2014 treasurer of the National Honor Society. He was also a member of the baseball team.
Tyler was a candidate for Student of the Year for 2013-2014.
Tori Folks, daughter of Jim and Donna Folks, will graduate with a 3.8769 grade point average and will attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the fall to major in nursing.
While at WSM, Tori was a member of the Yearbook Club, the French Club, the Quiz Bowl Team, and the Literary Rally Team. She was also president of the National Honors Society for one year and the reporter of the 4-H club for one year.
Tori was chosen as WSM 2013-2014 Student of the Year; and she also received a four-year scholarship from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Caleb Loveless, son of Dana Loveless and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Loveless of Baldwin, is a mid-term graduate from West St. Mary High School with a 3.7759 grade point average. After finishing high school in December, Caleb started his spring term at University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he is majoring in industrial technology.
While in high school, Caleb played football for three years and was an active member of the National Honor Society, French Club, Literary Rally Team and Renaissance Club for four years. Caleb was also a Student of the Year nominee. He is a member of the Baldwin Volunteer Fire Department.
