A free High School Equivalency practice test offered at South Central Louisiana Technical College, Young Memorial Campus, 900 Youngs Road, Morgan City, 8-11 a.m. or noon-3 p.m. Feb. 16 and 17. Must be 19 or older and must preregister by calling 985-380-2957, ext. 351. Limited space. Must complete the full test to receive a copy of results.

MC HOUSING
Morgan City Housing Authority, 336 Wren St., Brownell Homes, accepting Public Housing applications for all unit sizes 8-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Feb. 18. Must bring current proof of all income; picture ID for all applicants over the age 18; and certified birth certificates and Social Security cards for all ages of household members. Everyone over age of 18 that would be on the lease must be present in order to apply.
