St. Mary Parish Housing Office accepting applications for the waiting list for Section 8 rental assistance 9-11:30 a.m. and noon to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 and 27; and Wednesday, Oct. 21 and 28. Applications available at housing office, St. Mary Parish Courthouse, Room 107, Franklin. Must bring picture ID, proof of income, birth certificates and Social Security card for each member of the household. Persons with a record of criminal or drug related activity or persons listed on the Sex Offender Registry are not eligible.
