Woman escapes injury when car runs into ditch

Patterson police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 1:27 p.m. today after a woman allegedly experienced a seizure or another medical condition that caused her to black out and run off the road, police said. Tiffany Boiteaux, 42, of Franklin, ran the 2002 Toyota Camry she was driving into a ditch while traveling west on U.S. 90 near Wise Street in Patterson, police said. Boiteaux refused transport to the hospital, and the only visible injury officers saw on her was a mark from her seat belt, police said. No one else was involved in the crash, police said.
