Working on a busy highway

Department of Transportation and Development crews began road surface improvements Monday on La. 70 from U.S. 90 to Marguerite Street in Morgan City. Alternating lane closures will take place from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and are expected to last through Thursday, weather permitting.
