Holy Cross Elementary first-grade students recently planted seeds that have now grown into flowers. The flowers are being planted in reused cans as a Mother’s Day project.
Thursday was Cinco de Mayo, a Mexican celebration of independence, and the young students at Baby Bear Head Start Center in Morgan City marked the occasion with food and dancing.
