Louisiana Sheriffs’ Scholarship Program St. Mary Parish scholarship offered by Sheriff Mark Hebert. One $500 scholarship awarded to a graduating high school student. No restrictions on the purposes for which the scholarship is spent. Applicants must be permanent residents of Louisiana; the scholarship must be utilized in higher education within Louisiana; and the student must be enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student. Completed applications must be submitted to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office by April 1.
