Rooftop work

Equipment is lifted by a giant crane to the roof of the seven-story St. Mary Parish Courthouse for work on the AT&T cellular tower. The work to erect new guy wires is subcontracted to Dynamic Towers of Carencro. Wilson Street adjacent to the courthouse is blocked to through traffic. The south entrance to the courthouse parking lot also is closed. The job is expected to be complete by late Wednesday or early Thursday.
