Suspect sought in shooting incident

The Franklin Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance concerning the location of the following wanted suspect:
On May 23, officers responded to a residence on Ibert Street in regard to shots being fired at the owner and his residence. The victim’s vehicle window was broken and DNA evidence was located and matched with the suspect, Kentrell A’Johnica Gabriel.
Gabriel, 17, is wanted on charges of attempted second degree murder, armed robbery, armed robbery with a firearm and aggravated criminal damage to property.
His last known address is 1122 La. 83, Baldwin. Gabriel is 6-feet, 2-inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and wears dreadlocks above the shoulder.
He is considered armed and dangerous and is frequently in the Baldwin, Jeanerette and Patterson areas.
