Woman arrested after juvenile misses court
A 36-year-old Morgan City woman was arrested Wednesday after failing to bring a juvenile to court date. Morgan City Police Chief James Blair said in a news release.
—Tina Ordoyne, 36, of Fourth Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday on the charge of contempt of court.
Ordoyne was arrested at the Morgan City Police Department for the City Court. Ordoyne was charged with contempt of court after failing to bring a juvenile to court on an assigned date. Ordoyne was placed under arrest and booked into the Morgan City Police Department. Ordoyne was released on bail.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 31 complaints and reported the following arrest:
—Phillip Aucoin, 45, of the 100 block of Guzzetta Drive in Berwick, at 9 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery.
A deputy was advised by the Berwick Police Department that a subject with an active warrant for the sheriff’s office was at the Berwick police station. A deputy made contact with Aucoin and transported him to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $5,000.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrest:
—Samuel Decoste, 37, of Natalie Lane in Patterson, at 5:42 p.m. Wednesday on two warrants for hit and run driving and careless operation of a vehicle. Decoste was released on bail set at $1,500.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported the following arrest:
—Clarence Woods, 21, of the 400 block of Taft Street in Patterson, at 3:57 a.m. today on the charge of a warrant for simple criminal damage to property (no value given). Woods remains jailed. Bail is set at $500
