Police Reports 12-17-13

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Joel M. Floyd III, 24, of 1117 Cross Road, No. 2, Morgan City, was arrested Monday at 9:35 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant charging him with no commercial vehicle license. He was held on $5,000 bond.
William Clausen, 29, of 809 B. Cleco St., Patterson, was arrested today at 3:19 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. No bond was set.
Hebert also reported the Narcotics Division arrest of Brent M. Dalton, 33, of 105 Sydney Jo Lane, Berwick, Monday at 6:11 p.m. on charges of flight from an officer and reckless operation. Detectives of the Narcotics Division reportedly saw a vehicle cross the fog line several times before driving on the shoulder of La. 182. They conducted a traffic stop near the Tournament Boulevard intersection and made contact with the driver identified as Dalton. Dalton refused to comply with the detectives order to open the door, put the vehicle in drive and accelerated at a high rate of speed causing the vehicle’s tires to spin. Nearly colliding with another vehicle, Dalton fled from detectives travelling down La. 182. Detectives followed the vehicle to Sidney Jo Lane where Dalton was detained. No bond was set.
