Grand opening and ribbon cutting

Mayor Raymond Harris along with other local officials, Chamber of Commerce members, employees and well-wishers joined Manager Ebony Washington for the Hibbett Sports ribbon cutting on Friday. The new sporting goods store, located at 1814 Main St. in Franklin, offers tennis shoes, all brands of athletic wear for men, women and children, fashion wear and high school and local sports attire. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and noon until 6 p.m. on Sundays. For more information, call 828-3422.
