Ida Bertrand Falgout

Ida Bertrand Falgout, native of Rayne and resident of Morgan City, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at her home.
She enjoyed her family and gatherings with family and friends, especially her trips to casinos.
Mrs. Falgout is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roland J. Falgout; one daughter, Brenda Crappell and her husband, Wade; three sons, Roland Falgout Jr., Ronnie Falgout and his wife, Anaise, and Anthony Falgout and his wife, Yvette; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Isaac Bertrand; one son, Rusty Falgout; one granddaughter; four brothers, James, Herbert, Eldridge and Harry Bertrand; and five sisters, Anaise Theriot, Alma Boudreaux, Florence Derise, Thelma Goulas and Mary Lou Percle.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at Hargrave Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Ida will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
