Lavita Francis

Lavita Francis, 47, a resident of Morgan City, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson.
Visitation will be Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City from 8 a.m. until the funeral service at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Calhoun officiating.
Survivors include her mother, Jackie Brown of Patterson; husband, Earl Garrison of Patterson; daughter, Keokia Johnson Jones of Houston; two sisters, Chorriss Johnson of Patterson and Brittany Francis of Houston; and a brother, Kuahn Francis of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father and brother.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City-Franklin-Jeanerette-Houma is in charge of arrangements.
