ELLEN ‘SIS’ TRIGGS

Ellen “Sis” B. Triggs, 103, a native and resident of Patterson, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the AMG Specialty Hospital in Houma at 8:04 a.m.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 8, at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson, from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Shields Cemetery of Patterson.
Mrs. Ellen “Sis” Triggs leaves to cherish her memories one son, Joseph (Cynthia) Triggs of Laplace; five grandchildren: “devoted caretakers” Kreig Triggs of Patterson and Joseph Michael Triggs of Laplace; eight great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
“Sis” was preceded in death by her parents, one child, four siblings, one grandchild and a great-grandchild.
