MOST FAMOUS ‘PONY’ IN ABBEVILLE UP FOR AUCTION

It is probably the most famous derby pony from Abbeville despite never winning a Kentucky Derby, Belmont or even a race behind Clement’s.
The famous horse, named, “Pony” has been ridden by almost every child in Abbeville between 1968 through 1996.
For 28 years, if you went to Frank’s Drive Inn on Charity Street in Abbeville, “Pony” was there waiting to be ridden. All it cost was a dime.
