ERNEST ‘CHICKEN’ WILLIAMS

Ernest “Chicken” Williams, 80, a resident and native of Baldwin, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at 10:25 p.m., at Franklin Health Care Center following a short illness.
He is survived by one brother, Rev. Alton Williams of Baldwin; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Williams Dorn of Baldwin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitations were observed Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Otis Mortuary Chapel.
Burial rites were read Tuesday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment followed in the Special Providence Cemetery in Baldwin.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
