Harris wins Franklin contest for mayor

Raymond Harris Jr. won 54.7 votes in Saturday's municipal election for mayor.
Challenger Kenny P. Scelfo Sr. had 1,155 votes compared to Harris' 1,394.
Results are final, but not official.
Lester "Motor" Levine Jr. won election with 1,583 votes, 65.55 percent, to Kerry Martin's 832 votes, 34.45 percent, in the council member at large race.
Chuck D. Autin won 433 votes, 70.64 percent, to win the District B council seat. Brandan M. Trahan had 180 votes, 29.36 percent.
