5K Run/Walk set Saturday

A 5K Run/Walk sponsored by Teche Action Clinic and radio station KBZE and KFRA will travel throughout Franklin.
Registration fees for Saturday’s run during the Bayou Teche Black Bear Festival pre-registration will be $25 or $15 depending on availability of T-shirts. Late registration will begin at 6:30 a.m. day of the run/walk at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse square.
The race will begin promptly at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
The Bayou Teche Bear Festival will be celebrating its 11th year in downtown Franklin April 11-13. While promoting awareness, conservation and preservation for the Louisiana Black Bear this event will also feature all the normal activities associated with a cultured Louisiana Festival.
