Bear Fest kickoff party Thurs.

St. Mary Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Bayou Teche Bear Festival Kick-Off Party Thursday, 6-8 p.m., at the Teche Theatre in Franklin.
Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy a night of great music and good food while mixing and mingling with the leaders of St. Mary Parish. Dress is business casual. Musical entertainment will be provided by Rick Lorenzo and Mark Robicheaux.
Sponsors include Cypress Bayou Casino-Hotel, Cabot Corp., Dugas Oil and Franklin Foundation Hospital with contributions by the City of Franklin and Mayor Raymond Harris, Don and Mata Tellaman, Raintree Market, Centerville Market, Danny’s Fried Chicken, Bouquet Distributors, Polito’s Cafe, Cannata’s, Walmart, Winn Dixie and Franklin Supermarket.
