Esther Rene Tarleton Riles, 72, a native and a resident of Patterson, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at her residence.
Visitation will be Friday, April 11, at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City, from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Home Industrial Cemetery of Patterson.
Esther Rene leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Jessie Riles of Patterson; six sons, Robert Tarleton of Jeanerette, James Tarleton, Jessie Tarleton, Christopher Riles and Randy Riles, all of Patterson, and Byron Riles of Carencro; a daughter, Cassandra Riles of Patterson; two brothers, Norman Tarleton of Patterson and John Tarleton of Houston, Texas; six sisters, Audrey Ott, Constance Tarleton and Mrs. Jerry (Sandra) Cross of Patterson, Lucy Bates of New Orleans, Betty Hanes of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. Jonathan (Edna) Wilmore of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and a host of relatives and friends.
Mrs. Riles was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and four sisters.
