PSB Mystics rout Red Sox

The PSB Mystics defeated the Cameron Red Sox 15-0 in Patterson Babe Ruth 12U softball action at Kemper Williams Park Tuesday.
Makenna Lagarde earned the win for PSB. In three innings, she surrendered a hit, three walks and fanned two.
Natalie Mayon led PSB with a 1-for-2 performance with an RBI and a run, while Emma Grace Marin, Sarah Byrd, Anastaja Clossen, Aubreisha Augeam, Amber Demers and Selena Charles each scored two runs, and Iriah Taylor and Justin Peters each plated a run.
Kaitlyn Grogan and Layla Giroir each pitched for Cameron. Grogan pitched two innings and surrendered 10 runs on one hit with nine walks and fanned one, while Giroir pitched an inning and surrendered five runs and six walks.
Eryelle Singleton finished 1-for-1 with a triple for Cameron.
Defensive plays by Patterson State Bank kept Cameron at bay.
Cameron nearly scored; however, Lagarde tagged a runner out at home for the game’s final out with an assist by Emma Grace Marin.
