Rain alters prep schedule

Weather conditions canceled Monday’s prep baseball and softball action.
In baseball action, the Central Catholic-Hanson baseball game and Patterson-Centerville game both were not played.
A makeup date for the Central Catholic game has not been announced, while Patterson’s game has been rescheduled for April 22.
In softball, Central Catholic and Berwick’s softball game in Bayou Vista, Morgan City’s home contest against Covenant Christian and Patterson’s doubleheader with White Castle all were not held.
The Central Catholic-Berwick softball game will be played Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Bayou Vista after earlier in the day Berwick plays Lutcher at home at 3:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, Morgan City’s contest with Covenant Christian will not be made up as well as Patterson’s doubleheader with White Castle.
Also, Morgan City’s softball contest against North Vermilion, scheduled for today, has been cancelled but may be made up Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Berwick and Patterson’s baseball game today, Morgan City’s baseball contest at South Terrebonne, Berwick’s contest at Catholic High-New Iberia and Patterson softball’s contest at French Settlement all are scheduled to be played.
