Jamie Ohmer Head, 46, a resident of Berwick, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014
Jamie was born on July 10, 1967, in Morgan City, the daughter of Gerald and Viola Fryou Ohmer.
Jamie had a love for gardening and working in the yard, but enjoyed being in the outdoors soaking up the sun on the beach. She enjoyed interior decorating and making floral arrangements, as well as painting.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Karlyn Paige Head of Youngsville; her mother, Viola Fryou Ohmer of Berwick; three brothers, Gerald Ohmer Jr., Daryl Ohmer and Billy Ohmer; three sisters, Lesa Ohmer, Florence Ohmer and Stacy Macaluso; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Jamie was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Ohmer Sr. and one daughter, Brittani Nicole Head.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Twin City Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Poche officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Jamie will be laid to rest following the services in the Berwick Cemetery.
