City baseball league begins, now with 4- to 6-year-olds

The City of Franklin will kick off its third year of youth baseball this summer at Broussard-Harris Recreation Center with a league for boys and girls 4-6 years old.
Parents can fill out enrollment forms at Broussard-Harris Recreation Center and Franklin Recreation Center. Children must have health insurance at the time of enrollment. Registration is April 22-24 at Franklin Recreation Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at Broussard-Harris Recreation Center from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The season will begin May 27 at 6 p.m. at Broussard-Harris Recreation Center.
Additionally, the league is recruiting volunteers. Individuals, parents, churches, businesses and community organizations are encouraged to volunteer as coaches, umpires and concession stand workers.
