EDWARD LINZY SR.

Edward Linzy Sr., 77, a native of Jeanerette and a resident of San Antonio, Texas, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Northeast Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas., at 4:52 a.m.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 3, at Jones Funeral Home in Jeanerette, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
Edward leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Judy Charles Linzy of San Antonio, TX; four daughters, Cheryl Linzy and Gladys Linzy Coleman, both of New Iberia, Rita Linzy of Garland, Texas and Tina Linzy Craft of Frisco, Texas; a son, Edward Linzy Jr., of Franklin; three stepchildren he raised as his own, Kizzy Morton Londo and Lawrence Tardy Sr., both of New Iberia, and Willie Morton of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Sterlin Linzer of New Iberia; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a host of step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, and two sisters,
