Jimmy Mounier Sr.

Jimmy Mounier Sr., a Saints enthusiast, was a native of Ville Platte and a resident of Morgan City for over 50 years. Jimmy passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014, at his residence.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory his adoring wife of 50 years, Anita Verret Mounier; three loving children, Anna Pesson and her husband, Ray, Jimmy Mounier Jr. and his wife, Anjelle, and Phillip Mounier; two sisters, Mary Ann Fontenot and her husband, Ray, and Loretta Smith; six grandchildren, Ray, Jasmine, Courtney, Kelsey, Joshua and Alex; two great-grandchildren, Ray Pesson IV and Laken Mounier; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Mounier; his mother, Anna LeFleur Mounier; and one brother, Lionel Mounier.
The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday, May 7, 2014, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home. The family will have a eulogy and invite friends to share memories of Jimmy at 1 p.m. at Hargrave. Jimmy will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
