Michael Eric Lee, 47, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Arlington, Texas, from complications of liver disease.
Graveside service: 1 p.m. Monday, May 12th, in Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington, Texas. Visitation: Noon Monday at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive.
Michael was born in May 1967 at Fort Ord, California, to Johnny and Katherine Breaux Lee. In 1978, his family moved to Arlington where Michael graduated from Lamar High School in 1985. He was employed in various jobs over the years, but he most enjoyed his position as general manager of the family’s pizza restaurant, Papa Gepetto’s Pizzeria, for 10 years. Michael had many loves: He loved life and living; he loved his family; and he loved sports – especially the Oakland Raiders and the Texas Rangers. Michael was a Catholic and a man of deep and abiding faith in God and in the power of prayer.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Michael Sidney Nathan Lee, and by his maternal grandparents, Sidney J. Breaux and Irene Bodin Breaux and paternal grandparents, J. Oscar Lee and Annie Lettye Lee.
Sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and technicians who cared for Michael these last few years of failing health. A special thanks to the nurses and other personnel in the hospice ward at Arlington Memorial Hospital who were so gentle, kind and respectful in their treatment of him.
Survivors: Daughter, Jenna N. Lee of Russellville, Arkansas; parents, Johnny and Katherine Breaux Lee of Arlington; brother, Christopher P. Lee and his wife, Brandie, and their daughters, Isabella and Katherine of Arlington; and numerous extended family members.
Memorials: May be made in Michael’s name to a charity of choice.
