U.S. 90 lane closure in Lafayette, St. Martin

From Tuesday through Saturday, U.S. 90 will be reduced to one lane in the westbound direction for median shoulder work at La. 92 Young Street located between La. 92 Smede Highway and Southwood Drive near the City of Youngsville, a news release from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development stated.
The work will occur form 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
This portion of the project should be completed, weather permitting, by Saturday. All lanes will be opened at night and on Sundays.
Permit loads are restricted to 16 feet in width. Emergency vehicles have access through the area. No detour is necessary for this median work.
