Search warrant yields drugs, guns in Belle Rose

BELLE ROSE – A search warrant carried out at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Klotzville Lane, Belle Rose, resulted in an arrest and seizure of drugs and pistol, Assumption Parish Sheriff Mike Waguespack said.
The sheriff identified the arrested man as Jeremiah Millien, 33, of 35513 Mt. Calvary Lane, Donaldsonville.
The drugs had an estimated street value of $4,000, Waguespack said.
Waguespack reported Millien was booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Tues-day for possession with intent to distribute Schedule II Vyvanse; possession of Schedule III Hydrocodone; possession of Schedule II Oxymorphone; possession of Schdule I marijuana; pos-session with intent to distribute Schedule II cocaine; possession with intent to distribute heroin; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of a firearm in the presence of controlled substances; and five counts of possession of a controlled substances in the presence of a juvenile. His bond has not been set and he is still in custody as of the time of this release.
Waguespack noted the assistance of Ascension Parish Sheriff Jeff Wiley and the Ascension Par-ish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division in the investigation.
