Florence Veronica Madise

Florence Veronica Madise, 58, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Berwick, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be Thursday from 8 to 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
She was employed as a school bus attendant-aide for the St. Mary Parish School Board Transportation Division and the United States Post Office.
Survivors include five sisters, Carolyn Davis Thomas and Debra Myers, both of Berwick, Mary Watson of Morgan City, and Monica Jones and Ellen Darnell, both of Patterson; and a brother, Norbert Madise of Bayou Vista.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
