MC 12s finish 4-0 at invite

The Morgan City 12-year-old All-Stars finished 4-0 this weekend at the Thibodaux Invitational, outscoring their opponents 43-5.
On Saturday, the Morgan City squad defeated Thibodaux 15-0 in three innings and edged Franklin 5-4, while on Sunday Morgan City picked up two dominant victories, a 13-1 win against Thibodaux and a 10-0 win against Patterson.
Against Thibodaux, Michael-Anthony Hill and Trent Hillen pitched for Morgan City and combined to allow just two hits.
Offensively, Grant Stansbury led Morgan City with a 2-for-2 performance with four RBIs.
Other contributors included Phi3llip Guarisco, who finished 2-for-2 with two RBIs; Cade Booty, 2-for-3, two RBIs; Ryan Miller, 2-for-2; and Luke Barbier, Hillen and William LaRocca, each with a hit.
Against Franklin, Nathan Hebb, Booty and Stansbury combined for the win.
Booty, Ryan Miller and Dylan Tingle all had a hit and an RBI, while Hebb and Barbier each had an RBI. Stansbury, Hillen and LaRocca each contributed a hit.
On Sunday, Morgan City routed Thibodaux 13-1.
LaRocca had two hits and two RBIs, while Miller and Hillen each had two hits and an RBI.
Other contributors were Taylor Blanchard, a hit and three RBIs; Stansbury, a hit and two RBIs; Cade Booty, a hit and an RBI; and Barbier and Guarisco, each a hit.
Miller and Hillen each pitched for Morgan City.
In its last contest, Morgan City defeated Patterson 10-0.
Miller and Guarisco led Morgan City with a hit and two RBIs apiece, while Hebb, Blanchard, Hillen and LaRocca all had a hit and an RBI.
Other contributors included Booty and Barbier with a hit apiece.
