RONALD L. JOHNSON

Ronald L. Johnson, 62, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Patterson, died Friday, July 18, 2014 at his residence at 3:40 a.m.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 26, at the Church of God of Prophecy in Patterson, from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Pastor Keith Carter will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Ronald was employed and retired from the St. Mary Parish School Board as a Maintenance Mechanic. He also was the owner of Johnson’s Janitorial Services, LLC.
Ronald leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Veronica Jones Johnson of Patterson; his parents, William Johnson Sr. of Morgan City and Pearlie Mae Triggs Johnson of Patterson; three daughters, Keia Katrice Johnson of Patterson, Mrs. Keith (Ronnesha) Carter of Franklin and Alana Deetrice Johnson of Natchitoches; five brothers, Edison Williams of Houston, Texas, Donald Triggs of Patterson, William Johnson Jr. of Berwick, Terry Johnson of La Place and Melvin Johnson of Clarksville, Tennessee; five sisters, Harriet Hilliard, Mrytle Jennings, Theresa Johnson and Carol Johnson, all of Patterson, and Mrs. Russell (Wilda) Every of Shriever, La.; his mother-in-law, Vera W. Jones of Morgan City; five grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Ronald was preceded in death by his grandparents, a sister, an aunt, his father-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
