Houma man, 35, dies in weekend accident

(AP) — State police say a 35-year-old Houma man died in a weekend traffic accident in Terrebonne Parish.
The accident was reported around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. State police say Leroy Whitley died at the scene of the accident.
The car Whitley was driving ran off a road and overturned, landing on its roof in a ditch. Whitley was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected from the car.
Autopsy results were pending.
