Police: Intruder stabbed in Houma break in

HOUMA, La. (AP) — Police say a 30-year-old Houma man accused of breaking into a home ended up in the hospital suffering from several stab wounds.
The Courier reports (http://bit.ly/1ogrwBJ ) George Willis was booked with unauthorized entry and simple battery. He was treated at Terrebonne General Medical Center before being released to police early Thursday morning.
Police say Willis entered a home in attempt to collect money from a man who lived there. During the incident, investigators say Willis was stabbed three times.
