St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Nadia R. Bourgeois, 17, of 890 Verdunville Road, Franklin, and Makenzie N. Marcotte, 17, of 165 Cane Road, Centerville, were arrested Thursday at about 12:30 p.m. on charges of simple burglary after an alleged fight at Centerville High School. Both were released on summons.
Charlie Williams Jr., 35, of 721 Arlington St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 2:06 p.m. on a warrant charging him with probation violation. No bond was set.
Cody T. Bell, 23, of Metairie, was arrested Thursday at 2:35 p.m. on a charge of possession of Suboxen and held with no bond set.
Darin T. Hannigan, 36, of 1300 Burke Place, Morgan City, and Brian J. Derouen, 26, of 100 Cypress Drive, Berwick, were arrested Thursday at 6:32 in connection with a disturbance on Arlington Street. Hannigan was charged with aggravated assault and held with no bond set. Derouen was released on $250 bond.
Shaddrick J. Neddie, 38, of 1308 James St., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 6:53 p.m. on a justice of the peace warrant charging him with simple battery. No bond was set.
Willie M. Hamilton, 59, of 1409 Ellzey St., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 7:12 p.m. on charges of speeding, improper lane use, second offense DWI and open alcohol container. No bond was set.
Michael Bowie, 53, of 135 Baronne St., Baldwin, was arrested Thursday at 8:44 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of possession of Schedule I drugs. He was released on $1,500 bond.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Marquita Sherron, 30, of Branch Street, Baldwin, on a New Iberia warrant charging her with failure to appear on charges of driving under suspension and no seat belt. She was transferred.
Brendan Comeaux, 21, of Cayce Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 11:04 p.m. on a district court failure to appear warrant on charges of possession of marijuana, carless operation and suspended driver’s license. He was also charged with a Third Ward Court warrant on charges of failure to appear on no seat belt and suspended driver’s license charges. No bond was set.
