CAROLYN ANN BROWN

Mrs. Carolyn Ann Brown, 52, a resident of Orange, Texas and native of Lafayette, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at 12:12 a.m., at Pinehurst Nursing and Rehab Center in Orange, Texas following a short illness.
She is survived by two daughters, Ms. Erica Patrice Johnson and Mrs. Summers Elizabeth Thibodeaux, both of Orange; four brothers, Floyd Johnson and Lloyd Johnson, both of Orange, Taylor Johnson Sr. of Beaumont, Texas and James Johnson of Franklin; six sisters, Mrs. Irene Fuselier, Mrs. Joyce Fuselier and Mrs. Orelia Provost, all of Baldwin, Ms. Pearlie Johnson of Jeanerette, Evangelist Linda Sam and Mrs. Hazel Madison, both of Franklin; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and three sisters.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, August 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Otis Mortuary, Inc. in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. Kenneth Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery along the bayou side.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
