Candidate forums set

Forums for candidates in the Nov. 4 election have been set by the St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce.
Each forum will begin at 6 p.m.
On Sept. 23 at the Morgan City Auditorium, candidates for 16th Judicial District Judge, Div. A, and School Board Dist. 9, will be featured.
Anthony Thibodeaux and Dean Wattigny are vying for the judge’s seat; William Bill McCarty and Jeff Trim are running for the school board seat.
Baldwin candidates will be featured Oct. 7 at the Baldwin Civic Center.
Mayoral candidates are Benny J. Druilhet, Michael Lancelin and Dona Lanceslin.
Chief of Police contenders are Sharandae Brandon, Daven Colar, Ronnie Fuselier, David Robertson, Harry “Boo Boo” Smith and Albert Thibodaux.
Five aldermen are to be elected from among candidates Herbert Bell, Carolyn Bowser, Margaret Coleman, Thor Frederick, Donald Grimm, Robert Robicheaux Jr., Gene St. Germain and Clarence Vappie.
