HMS, FSHS and WSM on the road again on Friday

Week 4 of the high school grid season, will send all three local teams on the road again as the Hanson Memorial Tigers, Franklin Hornets and West St. Mary Wolfpack once again travel to face their opponents on Friday.
Hanson Memorial (3-0) will take to the road to face the Ascension Episcopal Gators (2-1) in the opening of District 7-A action Friday at 7 p.m.
The Franklin Hornets (0-3) will make the short journey to face the Erath Bobcats (0-3) in non-district action Friday at 7 p.m.
The West St. Mary Wolfpack (0-3) will again journey to Opelousas to battle the Northwest High School Raiders in Friday’s non-district tilt at 7 p.m.
HANSON AT AEHS
Fresh off an impressive 41-14 victory over the Berwick Panthers, the Hanson Memorial Tigers will travel to open District 7-A action at Ascension Episcopal Friday at 7 p.m.
Hanson (3-0) hopes to continue its outstanding play while entering league play.
Ascension Episcopal enters Friday’s game after suffering its first loss of the season last week in a 43-6 setback at the hands of the Opelousas Catholic Vikings.

FSHS AT EHS
Franklin heads into Erath Friday with both teams looking for their first win of the season in a non-district battle set for 7 p.m. at EHS.
Franklin (0-3) has battled three straight 5-A opponents while in preparing for district play.
Franklin will take on the Erath Bobcats from nearby District 6-3A on Friday in non-district action.
Erath is also winless on the season after dropping a 35-30 setback to Vermilion Catholic last week.
WSM AT NHS
West St. Mary heads into Friday’s road battle for the fourth straight week seeking a win against the Northwest Raiders.
West St. Mary, which only has three home games this season, suffered a 41-14 road loss to the Morgan City Tigers last Friday.
West St. Mary (0-3) will take to the road to face Northwest Friday at 7 p.m. in non-district action.
