Lady Hornets go 1-2 in DHS Tourney

DELCAMBRE _ Franklin’s Lady Hornets went 1-2 in three games over the weekend in the Delcambre Tournament.
In the opener, the Franklin Lady Hornets came up on the short end of a 2-0 loss to Northside Christian by a score of 21-25 and 16-25.
Leading scorers for Franklin were: Emily Marion, 6 kills, 2 aces, 1 block; Abriana Burrell, 1 kill, 4 assists; Kaira Butler, 2 kills, 1 ace; Fabian Small, 2 blocks; Nekeiah Gibson, 3 aces; Samantha Frederick, 1 kill, 1 block and Wynesha Jenkins, 2 blocks.
In the second game, Franklin suffered a loss to the North Vermilion Lady Patriots by final scores of 21-25 and 6-25.

In the third game, Franklin defeated Westgate by scores of 25-20 and 25-6.
