Curtis-Austin exchange vows

Caroline Louise Curtis and Kyle David Austin were married during a 6:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony June 13 at Spirit Ranch in Lubbock, Texas. The Rev. Keith Baldridge officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Colleen and Walter Curtis of Perth, Western Australia, Australia, formerly of Berwick. The groom is the son of Pamela and David Austin, of Lindale, Texas.
The outdoor ceremony took place under a canopy of Oak trees that flanked the aisle.
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride wore a slim-fitted, chapel-length gown of ivory lace embellished with lace appliques adorned with Swarovski crystals. The bodice featured a soft scoop neckline and a satin-ruched waistband.
Gracing her head was a chapel-length blusher veil.
She carried long-stemmed calla lilies with a lace stem-wrap that tied into a long-draping bow.
Brittany Kneisley was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Schmitzer, Whitney White, Kaci Lee and Hillary Austin.
Attendants each wore a floor-length strapless gown of expresso chiffon featuring a ruched waistline and a sweep train.
They each carried a long-stemmed calla lily with the same lace stem-wrap.
Flower girls were Avery Baldridge and Eden Baldridge. Ringbearer was Jason Reznicek.
Austin Dover was best man. Groomsmen were Wade Morrison, Kyler Todd, Rush Gongora and Derek Gardner.
Ushering guests were Samuel Kneisley and Stephen Mobley.
A reception immediately followed.
The bride’s cake was a four-tiered cupcake tower with a small baseball-shaped cake on the top tier. The three other tiers consisted of chocolate, white and red velvet cupcakes frosted in white icing.
Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Abuello’s Restaurant in Lubbock, Texas. Guests were served a fajita supper.
The bride graduated from Cy-Woods High School in Cypress, Texas, and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She attends Texas Tech working towards a master’s in math. She is a math teacher and coach at Diboll Junior High School in Diboll, Texas.
The groom is a graduate of Texas Tech. He is a history teacher and coach at Diboll High School.
They honeymooned in San Diego and reside in Diboll, Texas.
